The easy part is that you've already decided that you're buying a Microsoft Xbox 360 when it comes out. But with the new console's HDTV-ready capabilities--the 1080i games, the high-def outputs--there's no way you're gonna host any Halo 3 frag fests on that 19-inch Sylvania in the den. The big explosions, the nauseating violence, and the breakneck karaoke of tomorrow's 360-compatible games deserve a large expanse of screen and plenty of pixels, so we've gathered some televisions that are up to the task. What makes them Xbox 360-ready, you ask? Simple: they have good ratings, they have big screens, and they look cool, although none will match the snowy 360. We also avoided plasmas because, although burn-in is greatly exaggerated, it's more of a danger for games than for other content.
