Capcom has announced that the highly anticipated 'Devil May Cry 4,' which was in development for Sony's PlayStation3 (PS3), is now also in development for Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Windows PC platforms. The company said that each version of 'Devil May Cry 4' will be created so as to take maximum advantage of the consoles' strengths, leading to a spectacular visual and game play experience. Making this announcement, Mark Beaumont, Executive Vice President of Consumer Software Publishing (the Americas and Europe), Capcom, said, "Capcom is committed to making its titles available to as wide an audience as possible, and has been building its technology base to meet that goal. This announcement means that PS3, Xbox 360, and PC owners worldwide will be able to experience the latest installment of one of Capcom's pillar franchises." According to Capcom, 'Devil May Cry 4' immerses gamers in a gothic supernatural world, where a new protagonist clashes with a familiar hero. As the new leading man, Nero, players will unleash incredible attacks and non-stop combos using a unique new game play mechanic, the powerful 'Devil Bringer' arm. And, with advanced graphical capabilities of next-generation consoles, game play will come alive as players explore newer and more exotic locales. The main ingredients of 'Devil May Cry 4' are the game's dynamic action, its undeniable style, unprecedented fighting options, and gripping storyline, according to Capcom. It is learnt 'Devil May Cry 4' will be released simultaneously for the PS3 and Xbox 360 systems, with the Windows PC version to follow sometime later. Capcom has not revealed release dates of the game. Article courtesy techtree.com
