TimeShift for XBOX 360, due October '07???

Yes, the question marks really are the story on this shooter, as it has been in development for quite some time with several delays. Sierra, the developer, is now saying that October '07 looks like a pretty solid release date for this unique time based/controlled app.

A new look at the redesigned time altering shooter.

It's been a long time since TimeShift first came around, and... we'll resist the time related jokes. You've had enough of those with Duke Nukem Forever, we're sure. Let's get to what's new in Sierra's shooter.
The design of the
game has changed quite a bit in the past year since Sierra decided to delay it, with the biggest shift being that the the three time control methods have been simplified into one context sensitive button. This button lets you slow, pause, or rewind time based on the situation you are in. You may not always know what you are getting when you hit the button, but your character's "smart suit" will suggest the best possible use of your powers.
For example, your suit knows that when you've been struck with a grenade, the best solution is to rewind time so that the grenade never comes in contact with you, instead of leaving it stuck or slowly detonating on your body. In an area where the player must use a large teetering cylinder to cross over a fence, the suit will stop time in order to allow safe passage.
