In January 2005 at the CES in Las Vegas I had an opportunity to meet Fata1ity and see him play in person. He is very unassuming and casual but he knows the business and what it takes to be successful. When I saw him playing he was actually involved in a shootout where he welcomed challengers to try and beat him at a game called Painkiller. It was amazing to watch him play. He knew the game like the back of his hand. Though a couple of the players got shots off, no-body I watch play could even come close to the skill this guys has when playing. His eye-hand coordination and knowledge of every little nook and cranny of the maps helped. He also knew exactly where his oppontents would go and could predict what was going to happen. I guess it becomes a bit like a chess match after a while. It's nice to see Fata1iy continue to be a success as a video game player and promoter. Maybe someday we can get him to attend an XBTR function as a guest!
